Cortland State senior Jessica Laing scored 25 points and reached the career 2,000-point milestone as the Red Dragons defeated Potsdam, 74-51. Cortland has won 13 straight games and is 18-3 overall and 13-1 in the SUNYAC.

Laing becomes the 10th recorded player in NCAA Division III women�s basketball history to record the combination of 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Her current totals are 2,006 points and 1,207 rebounds. She is the only player of the 10 in that exclusive group to also make at least 100 career three-pointers (currently at 127).

&&f-boxr&&Laing scored her 2,000th point on a driving layup with 13:20 left in the game. She also finished the contest with 15 rebounds for her 17th double-double in 21 games this season and 71st of her career in 109 games.

The most recent women's basketball player to join the 2,000-point, 1,000-rebound club was Megan Scheele, who did so for Edgewood on the same date last year.
